During the off season we have been very busy renovating the Sugar Valley clubhouse.
We have updated the bar area by taking down the hanging cabinets, dated wallpaper, dark bar front, and beaten up bar top. The bar front has been replaced with a stylish stone front, the walls are now a warm navy, and beautiful light fixtures replaced the hanging cabinets. We also have added two brand new flat screen TVs, creating the perfect spot to watch the big game.
In the dining room we have replaced the unusable fireplace with a state of the art fireplace/TV duo. To the naked eye, the new stone fireplace may seem to have a decorative mirror over it, but when needed, the mirror disappears and a flat screen TV takes its place. We have taken down the old window treatments and wall artwork, transforming the dining room into a far more inviting area to gather with friends and family.
The Oak Room has been both repainted and had its carpeting replaced. The bland, beige room has been transformed into a bright, airy space with rich caramel walls and plaid-designed carpet.
The Golf Shop has been stripped of its old, dated wallpaper, and is now a much more appealing area.
The ladies locker room, once cluttered and pink, is now a pleasant and cheery yellow with navy blue carpeting. All of the furniture and window treatments have been redone, making the area a welcoming place for ladies to use before and after their round.
The men’s restroom has been re-tiled, repainted, and has received new fixtures, including a unique golf ball sink. In addition to the updates in the clubhouse, we have also begun renovating the Inn at Sugar Valley. We are in the process of stripping all the wallpaper, pulling out old carpet, and repainting the walls. When finished, the Inn will be an attractive and cozy area where members and nonmembers can host parties, receptions, or business retreats. |
